One of the highlights of our exhibit at PDC 2009 will be the features slated to appear in Xceed DataGrid for WPF Professional Edition in the first half of 2010. Ever one to break technology boundaries, Xceed is set to introduce the world’s first touch-enabled datagrid control!

Thanks to the new Tableflow™ Touch view, which supports all the features of the recently released Tableflow™ view—itself a stunning take on the traditional 2D grid view—and all the rest of the datagrid’s features, you will soon be able to create applications whose table views allow smooth scrolling with inertia, flick-scrolling, rebound, etc. The graphic design of the view takes into account Microsoft’s standards regarding “touch” in order to facilitate interacting with it using a finger.

Other industry-first features we will be showcasing at the PDC include a beautiful Windows 7 theme unlike any other and a new group navigation button that makes getting to the correct group easier than ever before.

In addition to announcing and demonstrating game-changing new features for our WPF datagrid, we will be previewing features from an exciting upcoming product, Xceed DataGrid for Silverlight, currently scheduled for release in Q2 2010. Providing a high-impact user experience that is radically different than anything available on the market, this datagrid will be incredibly responsive—thanks to asynchronous data virtualization and animated effects such as smooth scrolling.
