I got this error and I don't know why. The .NET version is supposed to be 3.0, but at the end of the error it says it's 1.1? I've worked with Xceed charts many times, but never received this particular error. This is the first time I'm using the charts on this particular server. I'm confused, any help would be appreciated!

Have you verified in IIS that this site is configured to use .NET 3.0?  Is .NET 3.0 installed on the machine on which the server is running?

Upon investigation, I don't think the web.config file has been updated, but I don't know what I need to add, any suggestions?

If you are in IIS, you can use IIS manager, and set the asp.net version in the properties of the site.

Ok, so it turns out that .NET 2.0 was installed, but not set up for IIS. Thanks for your help!
